2009 - End of Summer BBQ, Championship - 8/1

Another year has almost come and gone!  We hope that you all had a great time playing basketball, meeting other players, and experiencing the league and what CCU is about.  As we are gearing up for the playoffs and championship games, we wanted to let everyone know about our end of the year events that will occur this Saturday, August 1^st. 

Playoffs:

The entire playoff/championship schedule has not been finalized yet, as it is dependent on the results of this last week of games.  However, please see the Saturday, August 1^st playoff schedule below, which will go from 10am until roughly 3:30pm:

Platinum Championship:  Sat. 8/1 Court A 10:00 am  PDST (P1) vs Winner of Playoff Game # 1
Gold Championship:  Sat. 8/1  Court B 1:00 pm  Winner Playoff Game # 1 vs Winner Playoff Game # 2
Silver Championship:  Sat. 8/1 Court B 11:15 am Winner Playoff Game # 1 vs Winner Playoff Game # 2
Bronze Championship:  Sat. 8/1 Court B 10:00 am Winner Playoff Game # 1 vs Winner Playoff Game # 2
Y16 Championship: Sat. 8/1  Court A 1:00 pm Winner Playoff Game # 1 vs Winner Playoff Game # 2
Y13 Championship:  Sat. 8/1  Court A 2:15 pm Dragons (Z1) vs Winner of Playoff Game # 1
Women Championship:  Sat. 8/1  Court A 11:15 am Winner Playoff Game # 4 vs Winner Playoff Game # 5

Please note: Higher Seeds will lead fellowship for each game, and Lower Seeds will lead opening prayer.  Fellowship will occur before the game, except for the 10am games (which will occur afterwards)

End of Year Fellowship/BBQ

Everyone is welcome to join us at 4pm for music, an awards presentation, a message. This will be a great time to cap a great two months worth of competition.

At 5:30pm, we will have the BBQ and raffle.  Please note that ONLY tickets holders will be allowed food at the BBQ.  Your BBQ ticket will be your raffle ticket, so hang on to them.  Also, each team is responsible for bringing your own drinks.
